The Living Economy

Player-run trading, a demand-driven server shop, and coins you can hold.

What it is

Eternal Realms runs on coins — and the heart of the economy is player-to-player trading. You start with 100 coins, earn a 25-coin daily bonus on your first login each day, and grow your fortune through the Exchange, chest shops, the server shop, and blood moon bounties.

The Eternal Exchange

/market opens the Exchange — the server's player marketplace. Browse what others have listed, or hold an item stack and run /market sell 50 to list it at your price (up to 8 listings each). The clever part: the Exchange remembers what things actually sold for and shows the going rate on every listing — so you always know whether that "deal" is a deal.

The server shop

/shop opens the server store — around 50 everyday commodities with a twist: buy prices move with supply and demand. Heavy buying drives a price up; heavy selling cools it off, and prices drift back to normal over time. Sell payouts are fixed, so gathering income stays steady and predictable. Buying from the shop costs a premium over player prices — sharp traders will always beat it on the Exchange.

One item stands apart: the Elytra, stocked at 50,000 coins — a genuine endgame purchase for anyone who would rather earn their wings through commerce than raid an End city. The shop sells them but never buys them back.

Chest shops

Want a storefront in your town? Put a [shop] sign on a chest and it becomes your own shop — selling your goods at your prices, automatically, even while you're offline.

Your money

  • /balance — how rich are you?
  • /pay <player> <amount> — send coins instantly.
  • /baltop — the rich list. Get on it.
  • /withdraw <amount> — turn coins into a physical banknote item you can trade, gift, or stash in a vault.

Town treasuries

Towns get a shared account: /treasury deposit and /treasury withdraw manage your town's collective funds — for group builds, event prizes, or an emergency creeper-damage fund.

Earning coins

  • List loot on the Exchange when the going rate is good.
  • Run a chest shop in a busy spot.
  • Hunt during blood moons — every kill pays a bounty.
