Waystones
Discovery-based fast travel — explore first, teleport forever.
What it is
Waystones are the server's fast-travel network — but with a twist: you can only teleport to waystones you've discovered in person. No free rides. Explore the world, click the waystones you find, and your personal travel network grows.
How to use them
- Craft a waystone: 8 stone bricks around an ender pearl.
- Place it somewhere meaningful and give it a name.
- When you find someone else's waystone out in the world, click it once — it's now discovered.
- Use any waystone to teleport to any other waystone you know.
Tips
- Waystones appear on the live map, so you can plan expeditions to discover far-away ones.
- Put one at your town spawn — it makes your town part of everyone's travel network and brings visitors.
- Name them clearly ("Riverside Docks", not "ws2") — everyone sees the name.
